Prana Yoga & Fitness is located at 4925 Boonsboro Road, Lynchburg, Virginia, 24503 in the Boonsboro Road Shopping Center. Our studio is easily accessible, with plenty of convenient parking. You’ll find a calm, welcoming space designed to help you transition into or out of your day and into your practice.

Expect a welcoming, unhurried environment. We encourage first-time visitors to arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can help you get oriented, answer questions, and make sure you feel comfortable before class begins. There’s no pressure to perform—just come as you are.

Yes. Shower facilities are available, which is especially helpful after heated classes or if you’re heading back to work or other commitments.

You’re welcome to bring your own, but it’s not required. Yoga mats and towels are available for rent at the studio for your convenience.

Some classes at Prana are heated and designed to be challenging yet intentional. Temperatures vary by class type, from warm(85) to hot(105), and our instructors offer guidance and options so you can work at your own pace. If you have questions about heat, just ask—we’re happy to help you choose the right class.

The easiest way is to try a class and see how it feels. Many new students begin with our introductory offer so they can explore different classes and find what works best for their body and schedule. If you are totally new or just getting back into fitness, try our gentle yoga class! It is a great way to figure out where you are(physically/mentally) to help start you on your yoga/fitness journey.

For hot yoga and hot Pilates, we recommend light, breathable clothing that allows you to move and sweat comfortably. Many students choose fitted athletic wear or minimal layers—the goal is comfort and freedom of movement, not coverage. You’ll be warm, and less restrictive clothing tends to make the experience more enjoyable.
For non-heated or gentle yoga classes, loose, comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement is ideal. Think soft layers you can relax and stretch in without distraction.
